Exciting News!

We’ve reached a significant milestone in the Our Voice Project journey. After many discussions and thorough analysis, we’re thrilled to announce that the project’s survey results are now available in a comprehensive report!

This report marks the culmination of our efforts in engaging and empowering multicultural youth in Moreton Bay. It’s a vital resource that sheds light on the experiences and voices of our diverse community.

The Expo was a blast, showcasing a range of career opportunities, education pathways, and exciting business ventures. We couldn’t have done it without you! Whether you rocked the career and education stalls, delivered captivating presentations, performed your heart out with mesmerising cultural song and dance performances, or promoted your amazing business initiatives, you made a huge impact.

 

Your time, energy, and expertise played a vital role in shaping the event and leaving a lasting impression on the young attendees. Your stories, insights, and experiences were incredibly inspiring and encouraged the youth to dream big and pursue their passions fearlessly.

The Our Voice Project

The Our Voice Project is a Multicultural Moreton Bay Youth Project.

Aim

The aim is to survey 100+ Young People from all cultures in the Moreton Bay region:

  • All about their needs
  • Services they would like to see in Moreton Bay
  • What’s working well for young people in their area
  • What are the challenges for young people in their area
  • What are the challenges for Young People of colour in Moreton Bay?
  • Be invited to be a part of a multicultural advisory group to inform Council and other Government bodies about your needs
  • One on one mentoring
  • Be part of organising youth events in April (Youth Week) and May
